Article Processing Charges (Fees)

Ninevah International Journal of Information Technology applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No fee is required at the time of submission, and the payment of an APC has no influence on the editorial or peer-review process. The APC contributes to editorial processing, publication management, online hosting, digital archiving, and the continued development of the journal.

For subsequent issues, the standard publication fee is 150,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD) per accepted article. Academic staff and employees affiliated with universities and higher education institutions in Ninevah Province are eligible for a 50% discount, reducing the APC to 75,000 IQD per accepted article. Eligible institutions include Ninevah University, University of Mosul, Northern Technical University, University of Telafer, University of Al-Hamdaniya, Al-Hadba University, Al-Noor University, Al-Qabas Private College, Al-Furqan University, and Sahl Nineveh University.

For international researchers affiliated with academic or research institutions outside Iraq, the Article Processing Charge is USD 100 per accepted article

Special Policy for the First Issue

To mark the launch of the Ninevah International Journal of Information Technology and to encourage high-quality scholarly contributions, all articles accepted for publication in the journal’s first issue will be published free of charge. Accordingly, no Article Processing Charge (APC) will be applied to articles published in the first issue.

APC Waiver and Discount Requests

Ninevah International Journal of Information Technology recognizes that authors may occasionally face financial circumstances that make payment of the full Article Processing Charge difficult. Therefore, requests for a full APC waiver or a partial reduction may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Authors who wish to request an APC waiver or discount should contact the journal by email and provide a clear explanation of the circumstances and reasons supporting their request. Each request will be reviewed individually by the journal’s editorial administration, and approval will be subject to the journal’s policies and available resources.

Requests for an APC waiver or discount will not influence the editorial decision, peer-review process, or scientific evaluation of the manuscript. Authors are encouraged to submit any waiver or discount request after manuscript acceptance and before making the APC payment.
